Windows Server 2012 R2インストール後、ウイルス対策ソフトをインストールしておく。
で、現状マイクロソフトが提供しており、Windows Server 2012にもインストールできる製品がまたわかりづらい。
Microsoft Security Essentialsはサーバにインストールできないし、Forefront Endpoint Protectionはもはや古いし・・。
ということで、色々と調べた結果、System Center 2012 Endpoint Protectionがよさげ。
さっそくMSDNから”System Center 2012 Configuration Manager and Endpoint Protection with Service Pack 1″をダウンロードし、ISOイメージをマウントしたディスクの\SMSSETUP\CLIENT配下のexeを実行したところ・・
System Center 2012 Endpoint Protection cannot be installed on your operating system.
Windows Program Compatibility mode is not supported by this program.

で、調べたところ、どうやらWindows 8.1や2012 R2にEndpoint Protectionをインストールする場合は、
“System Center 2012 R2 Configuration Manager (x86 and x64)”
の\SMSSETUP\CLIENT配下にあるscepinstall.exeを実行しないといけないらしい。
わかりづらい・・わかりづらいよ・・
